Set it to water daily, every other day, or every three days. An Eco Function pauses the flow to allow water to soak in. Rain delay feature suspends set program for up to 6 days. Manual on/off. Requires 2 AA batteries, not included. The soil moisture sensor helps provide customized watering for your plants. Simply set the control knob to one of five levels to accommodate your plants' particular moisture requirements. Prevents overwatering when soil is wet.
